Agentic AI Developer

Job Overview

We are looking for an AI Agent Developer to analyze our current internal workflows and identify where AI agents can automate, streamline, and improve business operations. This role is focused on building text-based AI systems that can understand instructions, follow process logic, use tools, retrieve information, and complete business tasks accurately and reliably.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building LLM-powered applications, designing prompt-driven workflows, integrating APIs and internal systems, and improving output quality through testing, evaluation, and guardrails. This is an applied engineering role focused on solving real business workflow problems with AI agents.

Key Responsibilities

• Study current internal workflows and identify opportunities to automate tasks using AI agents
• Design, build, test, and deploy text-based AI agents for business process automation
• Convert manual workflows, SOPs, decision rules, and internal instructions into structured AI-driven systems
• Build prompt-based workflows that can reason through tasks, retrieve the right context, and generate reliable outputs
• Integrate AI agents with internal tools, APIs, databases, CRMs, spreadsheets, document systems, and other business platforms
• Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines to help agents access the correct internal knowledge and documentation
• Implement memory, tool usage, function calling, and workflow orchestration where needed
• Create evaluation frameworks and test cases to measure accuracy, consistency, task completion, and business usefulness
• Improve performance by refining prompts, instructions, routing logic, validation layers, and fallback handling
• Apply guardrails and verification steps to reduce hallucinations, formatting errors, and unreliable outputs
• Monitor agent performance in real business use and continuously improve reliability, speed, and process fit
• Work closely with operations, product, engineering, and business teams to understand workflow pain points and turn them into practical AI solutions
• Document systems, workflows, logic, and implementation standards for long-term maintainability

Required Skills

• Strong Python programming skills with clean, structured, maintainable code
• Experience building LLM-powered applications using models such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, Mistral, or Llama
• Strong experience in prompt engineering and designing text-based workflows using LLMs
• Experience with agent orchestration, tool calling, function calling, and multi-step task automation
• Experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, or similar tools
• Experience building or integrating RAG pipelines using embeddings, vector databases, and internal documents or knowledge sources
• Ability to translate business processes into AI workflows and automation logic
• Experience integrating APIs, databases, third-party tools, and internal systems into AI workflows
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, especially around reliability, accuracy, and edge cases
• Ability to build testable systems with validation and error recovery flows
• Clear understanding of task decomposition, workflow design, and agent behavior control

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience automating back-office, operational, finance, support, or knowledge-based business workflows
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with Docker, containerized deployments, and CI/CD practices
• Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and logging for AI systems
• Understanding of security, privacy, and access control considerations in internal AI systems
• Experience with document processing, workflow automation, or enterprise software integrations
• Experience with fine-tuning, LoRA, or small-model optimization is a plus, but not required
