Assistant Manager – Medical Billing & AR will be responsible for managing and overseeing multiple clients.

Minimum qualification

  • Bachelor Degree in any stream.
  • Strong communication skill.
  • In-depth knowledge of revenue cycle management.
  • Fair knowledge of computer operations.
  • Good interpersonal skill.
  • Should have experience of handling at least 50+ member team.
  • Should have worked in a Assistant Manager role minimum 3 year.

Essential functions and responsibilities

  • Production & quality improvement plan.
  • Interact with GL & TL within span and keep the team motivated.
  • Develop necessary measures to check and ensure Service level agreement and the KPIs are met.
  • Training conducted as & when required for GL and TL briefing about the updates/issues.
  • Client interaction, escalation management, delivery management.
  • New Client Transition.
  • Follow Company policies and procedures.
  • Monthly Reports to Client and Accounting Department for Invoicing.
  • Training and on boarding for new joiners.
  • Performance Review for TL & Team members.
  • Maintenance of decorum and compliance on floor

Other Responsibilities

  • Providing solutions proactively to avoid issues and accelerate clients ability to achieve results.
  • Conducting training programs for continual improvement in process knowledge.
  • Determine criteria and methods needed to ensure that both the operation and control of the processes are effective.
  • Ensure the availability of resources and information necessary to support the operation and monitoring of the processes.
  • Implement actions necessary to achieve planned results and continual improvement of the processes.
  • Ensure effective and efficient use of resources.
  • Managing and guiding a team who will be responsible for Medical Coding, Billing, Denial Manager, Insurance Verification, Prior Authorization and AR Follow-up.
  • Respond to clients on any process related queries and manage 1st level escalations.
  • Perform random quality check on the A/R follows or EOB denial analysis work done by the team before it is sent to the clients.
  • Monitoring and managing workflow or daily targets to assure timely delivery of agreed SLA’s.
  • Tracking and maintaining metrics for a variety of data includes attendance, productivity, etc.
  • Develop processes to improve productivity and quality of the team.
  • Mentor staffs and new trainees and encourage good A/R follow up skills and work ethic.
  • Participate in the new pilots projects & work towards proper transition of knowledge to team.
  • Work with TL/GL to resolve any personnel problems or conflicts that may arise in the team.
  • Identify trends within the portfolio to aid collections and improve the productivity.
